Who is Zanda Moyo? Ninth suspect in Thabo Bester escape appears in court

Police later discovered that the man’s coffin was filled with cornmeal after a fake funeral was staged for him.

They gave the landlord copies of their Zimbabwean identification documents. Moyo declared in court that he had no representation and requested permission to contact his family. His request was granted and Judge Mohlolo Khabisi ordered him to make free use of LegalAid services. In the lawsuit against Bester’s girlfriend, Nandipha Magudumana, her father, Zolile Sekeleni, and five people who worked at the Mangaung Correctional Center, he was legally added as a plaintiff.
