Sierra Desiray Frederick stated that she had recently started a new graphic design job at a Tennessee company that produces print work for the Aldi supermarket chain, but declined to reveal her employer.
He said it was his first full-time job after graduating from college in August.

Frederick told viewers on his TikTok last week that he was at work for five days, three or four of which he did “nothing because there are two other people on my team and they didn’t know how to train me.”
Frederick claimed her coworkers told her they didn’t know what to assign her, making her feel “useless.” She even considered raising her concerns with the company’s CEO.
However, when she arrived at work on the sixth day, he was at her desk with an envelope and informed her that she was being fired. They told him it wasn’t working and that the company would be looking for another candidate.

In a follow-up video, Frederick revealed that she initially struggled with “insecurities” and felt she was to blame, until she was reassured by her friends and family, who insisted they hadn’t given her a fair chance.
Many commentators lamented the deterioration of previous training standards, while others claimed that they too had been dismissed due to inadequate onboarding.
“Most of today’s job training is figuring things out for yourself. It’s great. “We had trainers 30 years ago,” wrote one viewer.
Another user said he was fired for having “free time” and not being “proactive” in looking for work: “I was fired for not being productive and ‘a quick learner’ when I wasn’t taught anything.”
