Following the incident, the Italian Ministry of Health ordered that “vegan” tiramisu be removed from the market after suspecting that it contained milk.
Traces of milk and dairy protein were found in Tirimisun brand tiramisu products and traces of egg in the mayonnaise of the sandwich Bellisario ordered as a main dish, the Mirror reported.
