People were rather shocked after coming across a new listing on the Michigan real estate market.According to the listing, a dilapidated house in the heart of Pontiac, Michigan, was put up for sale for a meagre $1 (Rs. 83).

Although the agent behind the listing believes that the house will go for much more than just a dollar, the bizarre marketing strategy did grab the attention of many potential buyers, as the Zillow listing for 70 E. Ypsilanti Ave boasted, “Introducing the ‘World’s Cheapest Home!’ in the heart of Pontiac, Michigan!”

The 724-square-foot house has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The listing instigated any buyers who might be susceptible to such an offer: “Priced at a mind-boggling $1 (yes, you read that right), this home is not just a house—it’s a ticket to the real estate adventure of a lifetime.”

Realtor Behind The Listing Admitted That It Was A Marketing Strategy

The listing also suggests any DIY masters kick in their bucks and buy the place for a whole new renovation project. Realtor Chris Hubel, the mastermind behind the listing, enticed the buyers: “Step inside and experience the thrilling rollercoaster of emotions as you discover every nook and cranny that’s begging for your creative touch.” The post also confirmed that while the roof of the house has seen better days, no leaking has been reported yet.
