A young Salvadoran girl wanted to honor her father, who worked as a security guard, by giving him his degree that accredited her having completed the ninth grade.
Idalia Argueta received her ninth grade degree and was accompanied by all her loved ones, except for her father, who could not attend due to his job at a convenience store.
However, the young woman wearing a cap and gown arrived at the commercial establishment and walked to her father to give him the title.
The man, identified as Don Mercedes, did not hesitate for two seconds to hug his little girl, whom he helped with great effort so that she could fulfill her dream.
“I love you dad, you are the best; you are the one who deserves this achievement,” the young woman wrote in the clip, which already exceeds half a million views on TikTok.
Idalia proceeded to take off her cap and ribbon of academic excellence to place them on her father, who looked proud and moved by her gesture.
