The man was living at the city’s Nanta Police Station with a girlfriend when this event occurred. Authorities said the female partner disappeared and has not been found. Police have named an unidentified person as the target of a murder investigation. The victim’s father accused his son’s girlfriend of being the killer and claims she left the scene. The victim’s body was handed over to his father by the police on Friday morning after a post-mortem inspection by the medical board.
The body of a guy named Naresh Tanwar, who was from Khedi-Ghaat in Khandwa district, was found in a room in Ganesh Colony late on Wednesday night, according to Station House Officer Mukesh Meena. Meena added that a heavy stone allegedly used which was thought to be linked to the crime was also taken out of the room. The SHO stated that a padlock had been placed in the room where Tanwar was discovered dead. The owner notified police Wednesday night and revealed details of the murder case.
Meena went on to say that the police have launched an investigation and filed a charge of murder under section 302 of the Indian Penal Code against an unidentified individual. They are also aggressively trying to find and arrest Tanwar’s live-in girlfriend. The father revealed that his son was married with two children when he arrived in Kota on Thursday night. His son had started living with a married woman, who had two children, about two months earlier. Tanwar, a daily wage labourer, had been living with the woman in Ganesh Colony for the previous ten days, according to the father’s version.
