A catfight broke out inside Dr Scott Burke’s luxury yacht before he was arrested for drugs, prostitutes and weapons.

A heated catfight broke out just before police arrested a retired doctor on his luxury yacht docked in Nantucket, following reports that a woman had possibly overdosed on board.

Scott Anthony Burke, 69, was charged with drug and weapons trafficking after agents found cocaine, ketamine and prostitutes aboard his 82-foot yacht, the Jess Conn, while in Nantucket Harbor.

Police initially responded to a call from a woman who said she had overdosed and wanted to get off Burke’s party yacht.

Residents said a fight broke out between two women just before authorities arrived at the ship.

“These two women were yelling at each other,” one local told the Post.

“I think the police may have gotten involved…not only were they checking the woman for drugs, but there was a shouting match that evidently occurred between a woman on the harbor master’s boat and the launch boat that was bringing the person back or taking them to,” they added.

Law enforcement officials received a call shortly before 8 a.m. that a woman aboard the Jess Conn “was in need of medical assistance,” police said in a statement Wednesday.

The woman “did not want to be there, she was under the influence of drugs and possibly [had] overdose,” according to a police report.

The police report also says the woman was found in Burke’s bedroom on the luxury boat. Prostitutes were also found on the boat, according to Nantucket Current.

Burke told officers that he was the owner of the boat and that he had a license to carry firearms. However, police determined that Burke’s only had a license to carry in Florida and it had expired in September 2022.

He pleaded not guilty when he appeared in Plymouth District Court for his arraignment on Wednesday.

Investigators found more than 43 grams of cocaine, about 14 grams of ketamine, two handguns and other ammunition in the yacht’s main floor bedroom, the Boston Globe reported.

Burke, who practiced in Colorado before retiring in 2021, now lives in an ultra-exclusive enclave of Key Largo, Florida, featuring the private Ocean Reef club, known for its strict privacy policy.

“They have more money than God and they act like they can do whatever they want,” one longtime resident told The Post on Friday.

Burke founded Denver Spine and Rehab and was the CEO of Injury Finance, LLC., a company that provides medical lien services for third-party liability claims.

Nantucket residents said Friday that while it is not unusual for luxury yachts to dock in their harbor, the amount of drugs and firearms found on the retired doctor’s boat was alarming.

“I mean there are certainly people who have party boats that cause madness,” one said. “I think the gun side is the most disturbing part. There’s no need for that.”
