Aasif started his career as a junior artiste in the films Ready and Agneepath in 2011 and 2012. He appeared in the comedy-drama film Toilet: Ek Prem Katha as a reporter in 2017. The following year, he appeared in the supernatural horror film Aasif. film Pari as Ismail in 2018. He played the role of Bittu Sinha in the thriller India’s Most Wanted, starring Arjun Kapoor. The story of the film is about the search for a terrorist on a covert mission. He later played Parchun, a neighbor of the Giris in the black comedy film Pagglait.
