Aftab Shivdasani was born on June 25, 1978 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His father, Prem Shivdasani, is a Sindhi Hindu, while his mother, Putli Shivdasani, is a Parsi. He has an older sister named Afsana. He did his schooling from St. Xavier’s High School and completed his graduation from HR College of Commerce.

Career
Shivdasani’s career began at the age of just 14 months. She appeared as a child artist in Bollywood like Mr. India, Shahenshah, ChaalBaaz and Insaniyat. In 1999, she entered the entertainment industry professionally with the film Mast directed by Ram Gopal Varma opposite Urmila Matondkar as the lead actress. He bagged the Zee Cine Award for Best Male Debut and the Star Screen Award for Most Promising Male Newcomer for this critically acclaimed film. Later, Shivdasani worked in Vikram Bhatt’s film Kasur, opposite Lisa Ray. The film caught his attention instantly and also nominated him for three awards. He later worked in many successful Hindi films like Kya Yehi Pyaar Hai, Awara Paagal Deewana, Hungama and Masti.
In 2020, he acted in the first web series Poison 2 alongside Raai Laxmi, Pooja Chopra and Rahul Dev.
