Ali Hadji-Heshmati was born in London, United Kingdom, into a Muslim family. He landed his first acting role in the action-adventure drama series released in 2020, Alex Rider. The series is created by Guy Burt and is based on Alex Rider, an ordinary teenager enlisted to work on behalf of MI6. He subsequently performed as Abs Raza in Holby City the following year. Ali gained immense popularity after playing George Karim in the television series Lockwood & Co that premiered on Netflix.
