Alicia Keys came under fire for a tone-deaf post about paragliders after Hamas used them in a deadly attack on an Israeli festival.

Alicia Keys has raised eyebrows with a tone-deaf post about how she had “her eyes on paragliding,” days after Hamas terrorists used paragliders to fly into Israel in their unprecedented attack on the Jewish state.

Keys posted a photo of herself wearing a green jacket on her Instagram on Monday and said, “What would you do if you weren’t afraid of anything???

“Tell me your truth… I’ve had my eyes on paragliding…” he added with “sidelong eye” emojis in the since-deleted message.

The singer was immediately criticized for her position amid the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas, whose terrorists used paragliders to attack an Israeli music festival where they killed at least 260 people.

Some social media users also accused her of showing sympathy toward the terrorist group by wearing green, the same color as the Hamas flag.

The advocacy group StopAntisemitism criticized the Grammy winner.

“Is this a sick ode to the Hamas terrorists who infiltrated Israel, killed more than 1,300 people, beheaded babies, raped women and kidnapped Holocaust survivors?” it said in X.

The author, Rabbi Shmuley Boteach, also criticized Keys.

“Are you thinking about paragliding to what? To Israel and shoot and kill people? she told Sky News. “I’m struggling to find the words because we’re all in shock because the world has no morality.”

Following the backlash, the singer apologized and deleted the triggering post.

“The post I shared was COMPLETELY unrelated to the recent devastating loss of innocent lives. My heart has been breaking…. I pray and stand for peace,” Keys said in a statement on her Instagram Stories.

His former manager, Israeli-American Guy Oseary, also confirmed that he had meant no harm.

“There is talk of an anti-Semitic post that my dear friend Alicia Keys posted on her Instagram,” Oseary wrote. “I can confirm to anyone in my Jewish community who needs to hear it: It is NOT true.

“There was a specific word in your post that our community in this very painful time finds very triggering, but it was not at all connected in any way,” he wrote. “I spoke to Alicia and she was horrified to learn what the word implied and immediately wrote it down.”

Oseary added: “Alicia has always been a fighter for all human rights. I have had a front row seat for over a decade seeing her positive influence on the world. “Her humanitarian work reflects her empathy and her heart.”
