Álvaro Prieto was last seen last Thursday, October 12 in Seville, but on Monday the 16th he was found accidentally when a television camera was filming at the Santa Justa train station.
The first hypothesis is that the 18-year-old young man died of electrocution and in the autopsy carried out this Tuesday at the Institute of Lega Medicine in Seville this theory was confirmed.
This news has shocked all of Spain, since the soccer player was just starting out in the sport and studying mechanical engineering, being from a very close-knit family in Córdoba, a city in the south of the Andalusia region.

Who are Álvaro Prieto’s parents?
Álvaro Prieto was of Russian origin and was adopted by his parents Rafael and Julia, when he was barely four years old, both Galician children and natives of Lugo, a city and municipality in Spain.
The 18-year-old soccer player’s parents settled in Córdoba at the end of the 80s and according to local media El Progreso de Lugo, his mother, Julia López, studied law in Santiago de Compostela.
Meanwhile, Rafael Prieto, his father, lived in the Andalusian city, being a well-known businessman.
Furthermore, Álvaro Prieto was the grandson of José María López Díaz, someone well known in the city of the wall because he was the founder of Transportes Lamela, a recognized company in the region.
