Who was the man who ‘came back to life’ thanks to a pothole?
Darshan Singh Brar was reportedly declared dead by doctors and his ‘body’ was being transported from Patiala to his home in Karnal, where grieving relatives had gathered, food had been prepared and firewood had been prepared for his cremation. But when the ambulance hit a pothole, the story took a miraculous turn.

Brar’s family said their grandson, who was in the ambulance with him, saw him waving his hand and urged the driver to take him to the nearest hospital after feeling a heartbeat. The doctors declared him alive.
Where is the 80-year-old man now?
The 80-year-old heart patient is currently being treated at a hospital in Karnal, where his condition is said to be serious. The family has called the episode a miracle and now hopes for his quick recovery.

When the ambulance was near Dhand village in Haryana’s Kaithal, it hit a pothole hard and Balwan’s brother observed Brar’s hand moving. Astonished, he checked the heartbeat and, upon detecting it, took the 80-year-old man to the nearest hospital.
The family claimed that doctors at the hospital confirmed that Brar was alive and breathing before referring him to a hospital in Nising, from where he was sent to NP Rawal Hospital in Karnal.
“It is a miracle. Now we have hope that my grandfather will recover soon. All those who had gathered to mourn his death congratulated us and we asked them to share the party we had prepared. It is by the goodness of God that he is now breathing. and we hope he recovers,” he said.
