Archana made her acting debut in 2004 as an actress with Rain, rain, come again character portrayed of university student. In 2006, he got his first breakthrough film Lanka and played Kokila in it. He simultaneously debuted in Tamil cinema with Tholaipesi (2007) and in Malayalam with Sultan (2008). She made a cameo appearance in the Hindi film Dana Dan’s as a hotel receptionist in 2009.
In 2010, he signed his second Bollywood film, Bumm Bumm Bole as Bubhoni. She later worked in many films like Cowboy (2013), Villali Veeran (2014), Pravasalokam (2016) and more.

Archana has a distinguished career in the Malayalam and Tamil television industry. She made her debut with Mandrake in 2005. She gained wide popularity and fame after appearing as Glory in the series Ente Manasaputhri (2007) and in Maharani (2009) as Rani. Her notable works are Karuthamuthu as Dr. Meena in 2014, Ponnambili (2015), Stayam Sivam Sundaram (2017) and Seetha Kalyanam in 2019.
Apart from acting, she is an excellent TV host and presenter as she hosted Post Box on Kiran TV. She participated in the reality show Dare The Fear & she came second and in Bigg Boss Malyalam 1. In 2020, she participated in Surya Jodi No.1 aired on Surya TV.
