An Argentinian couple looking to travel the world in a mobile home arrived in Honduras and gave their first impressions about the country, which they were warned was “the most dangerous in Central America.”
Through their YouTube channel, Caro and Santi, better known as “Hakuna Matata x el mundo”, said that several people told them that Honduras was a dangerous place.
But that was not an impediment for Argentines to come to the five-star country to tour each of its cities and get to know the culture.
“We really want to be able to tour Honduras like we have done in other countries,” Caro said.
The first place they arrived at was San Marcos de Colón, in Choluteca, where they entered. There they tasted some Honduran dishes, learned about the currency and a little about the traditions of that area.
Honduras is the 14th country that the couple visits and they assured that although they have traveled little, they are already delighted with Honduras.
“We really loved this place, very nice, very well-kept. The people we already passed are very friendly. I loved it, this entrance and reception made me feel very good,” he said.
Caro and Santi decided to embark on their trip around the world in 2019; However, in 2020 they had to postpone it due to the covid-19 pandemic that forced the entire world to close its borders.
