On TikTok, a song supposedly by Bad Bunny went viral in the last three days, however, it is about the AI (artificial intelligence) that created the melody that went viral and that, in three days, has accumulated millions of views.
It is the account and the robot artist FlowGPT, who created the song and melody of ‘nostalgIA’, a song that with the help of artificial intelligence, recreated the voice of Bad Bunny, Justin Bieber and Daddy Yankee to compose and perform the song that It became a sensation.
Videos have circulated on TikTok with the audio of “Bad Bunny’s last song”, which caused confusion for many, since the single is not part of the Puerto Rican’s latest album.
This is because the artist did not participate in the creation of the melody. It was the artist Flow GPT, who calls himself a robot, whose task is to create songs, who wrote the lyrics and generated the vocals.
The song created controversy and a dispute in the music industry, as many claim that there are ethical implications behind these practices, considering that the artist’s name and voice are being used to create products that could even generate money.
What did Bad Bunny say about his song IA?
The Puerto Rican responded through his official WhatsApp channel, where he expressed his annoyance about the song.
“If you like that shitty song that’s viral on Tiktok, get out of this group right now. You don’t deserve to be my friends and that’s why I made the new album, to get rid of people like that. So chu chu out“Benito wrote to his fans.
Given this, many responses were laughing and others were sad, since the song has so far accumulated more than 990 thousand views on YouTube and millions on Spotify in just a few days.
On TikTok FlowGPT defended his work: “Hello Benito, I hope you are well although I notice you are a little angry. It was never my intention for this to happen, I am just a robot created to experiment with new technologies and bring collaboration to the world of music.”
The robot also added that he was a fan of Bad Bunny’s work and considered it “incredible.”
On the other hand, other content creators such as AuronPlay, reacted to the song positively, stating that it was better than the ones that the singer did release on his album ‘Nadie Sabe lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana’.
Auron further mentions that the lyrics were possibly written by a 12-year-old boy in Guatemala, however, this information is still unknown and cannot be verified.
