An Italian woman claimed to be a Lamborghini heir after testing her alleged sister’s DNA on a drinking straw, a lawsuit revealed.
Flavia Borzone, 35, claims she has “irrefutable” DNA evidence that she is the secret daughter of Tonino Lamborghini, 76, after analyzing her daughter Elettra’s saliva, she claimed in a lawsuit.
The Naples native said she hired a private investigator to recover a straw used by Elettra, who is a socialite and singer, to prove that they were siblings and that Borzone was the family’s illegitimate heir to the luxury car, the Telegraph reported.
The DNA sample was analyzed at the University of Ferrara, where experts said the genetic sample showed that Borzone and Elettra were indeed related, a court case filed on Monday revealed.
The illegitimate heir claims that Lamborghini and his mother, Rosalba Colossimo, met at a bus stop in 1980, while the sports car heir was passing by and offered her a ride. The two then allegedly entered into a relationship, which ended with the birth of Borzone in 1988.

Lamborghini denies that Borzone is his daughter and sued her and her mother for defamation after she made her findings public, the Telegraph said.
However, Borzone claims she secretly recorded a conversation with her alleged father, who has five legitimate children, in 2019, when she was driving to Funo, near Bologna, to meet him.
The beautician’s lawyer claimed that Lamborghini had “admitted to having a relationship with Colossimo” and that Borzone’s real name, Clelia, was a tribute to her mother.
Despite her possible daughter’s evidence, Lamborghini’s lawyer calls her claim “illegal” because Elettra did not consent to giving her DNA. Because of this, she argues that her DNA should not be admitted as evidence, the Telegraph said.
Borzone’s lawyer simply argues that the DNA proves that “she doesn’t lie” and that “the women are sisters.”
“For us it was important to show that Flavia Borzone did not want to offend Mr. Lamborghini, she just wants to be recognized. [as his daughter)]. “He has lived for years without knowing who his father is,” said his lawyer, Sergio Culiersi, according to the Telegraph.

They also claimed that Lamborghini refused to send its own DNA for testing, so they used a private investigator to obtain Elettra’s, the British outlet reported.
“Our client and Elettra Lamborghini are sisters. They are daughters of the same father. This should be enough to dismiss the defamation charge because [Borzone and her mother] “I just told the truth,” his legal team said.
Borzone’s mother also insisted that her daughter doesn’t want the Lamborghini fortune, she just wants to know who her father really is.
“If it had all been about the money, I would have done all this when Flavia was two years old,” Colossimo told the court.
The trial will resume in March.
