The Biden administration’s border policy poses an “imminent danger” to the United States, which has been “invaded” by “military-age men from around the world,” a group of former FBI officials warned.
In a Jan. 17 letter to House and Senate leaders, 10 former top FBI executives said the immigration crisis is “the most pernicious that has ever threatened the United States.”
“In its modern history, the United States has never experienced an invasion of its homeland, and yet one is now unfolding,” according to the officials, who included former Terrorist Detection Center director Timothy Healy, deputy directors of the FBI Kevin Brock and Chris Swecker, and Mark Morgan, former acting commissioner of US Customs and Border Protection and former superintendent of the FBI.
“Thousands of military-age men from around the world, many of them from countries or regions unfriendly to the United States, are landing in waves on our soil, not by jumping ashore from a ship or parachuting from an airplane, but by foot across a border that has been accurately advertised around the world as largely unprotected and with easy access guaranteed,” the letter continues.

The issue is even more pressing than ever, particularly after the October 7 terrorist attack by Hamas against Israel, they warned.
“It is harsh to say, but having large numbers of young men now within our borders who could begin attacking gatherings of unarmed citizens, in imitation of October 7 and at the behest of a foreign terrorist group, must be considered a different situation. possibility,” officials wrote.
“We would be remiss if we did not denounce this potentially serious threat in the most direct terms. The warning lights are flashing.”

The terrible letter comes as the most recent statistics from Customs and Border Protection show that more than 302,000 migrants crossed the US southern border with Mexico in December, capping a record fiscal year that saw a staggering 2.4 million. of encounters with migrants.
Republican leaders told the Post on Saturday that the letter underscores the administration’s capitulation at the border.
“This letter from top federal law enforcement officials makes abundantly clear that under Joe Biden’s failed leadership, the United States faces a dangerous invasion that threatens our national security and sovereignty,” said Upstate Rep. Elise Stefanik.

California Rep. Darrell Issa said Biden is “making a mockery” of the country’s immigration and asylum laws, allowing millions of immigrants to enter and remain in the country and facilitating fentanyl smuggling that “kills 100,000 Americans every year.” .
“Joe Biden’s open borders are a signature betrayal of our nation,” he said.
And even more surprising in light of the terrorist attacks on our own soil, said New York Representative Nicole Malliotakis.
“It is shocking that in a post-9/11 world the Biden administration has an open borders policy with such lax investigation,” he said. “They are even allowing people without real identification to board planes, which goes directly against the recommendations of the 9/11 Commission.”
