The 2023 Billboard Latin Music Awards took place this Thursday, October 5, from the city of Coral Gables, Florida, where the most recognized artists in Latin America gathered.
Karol G and Bad Bunny were the favorites of the night, even since the announcement of this new edition, being the artists with the most nominations; ‘El Conejo Malo’ arrived with 15 nominations and ‘La Bichota’ with 13.
The artists walked across a blue carpet in which they wore their best clothes and spoke with the press. They also greeted their followers, who were punctually present at the event with the best of Latin music.

Justin Quiles and Alpha started the big gala of the night with their hit ‘Fiesta Loca’ with which they made everyone present dance.

Awards and atmosphere
The presenters of the first category were three members of Rebelde (RBD), Maite Perroni, Christopher and Christian and they presented the award to Bad Bunny for ‘Song of the Year, Sales’, for ‘Tití Me Preguntó’.

Peso Pluma and Eslabón Armado took the award in the ‘Hot Latin Song Song of the Year Duo’ category with their hit ‘Ella Baila Sola’.
Following the award ceremony, Caliber 50 offered a high-profile presentation with the release of their song ‘Borracho pero Buen Muchacho’.
At the award ceremony for the Top Latin Album of the Year category, Colombian Karol G won the award with her album ‘Mañana Sera Bonito’ and when she collected her award she made everyone dance.

The award in the Latin Song of the Year category, the song ‘La Bachata’ by Colombian Manuel Turizo was the winner.
In the next category of Global 200 Latin Artist of the Year the award went to Bad Bunny and he expressed his happiness and gratitude to his followers.

“I make music because I love it. Thank you for accepting my music,” said Bad Bunny upon receiving his award.
Then, on stage, Los Ángeles Azules gave a unique show in commemoration and awarding their ‘Artistic Career’.
One of the artists he discovered was Peso Pluma, who was awarded Debut Artist of the Year.
Likewise, one of the most anticipated performances of the night was the duo of Marc Anthony and Pepe Aguilar with their new song in the ranchero genre ‘ojala te Duela’.
Grupo Frontera took the award for Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year Group or Duo and thanked their followers, concluding with a loud shout: “Viva México!”
The good music continued on stage and Manuel Turizo together with Marsmello made their presentation with their hit ‘El Merengue’.
Ivy Queen was recognized as an ‘Icon’ as one of the women in the reggaeton industry with the longest and most respected career.

The award for Latin Rhythm Artist, Duo or Group went to the Puerto Rican duo Wisin y Yandel.
Then, the legendary Olga Tañón took the stage with the hit ‘Es Mentiroso esa Hombre’ and everyone stood up and brought out their best moves.

‘El Conejo Malo’ took the Billboard stage with a combination of his best hits such as: ‘Moscow Mule’, ‘Titi Asked Me’, ‘La Neverita’, ‘I Behave’, ‘A Preview’.
