Bruce Boudreau Early life

Boudreau, the son of Theresa Roy and Norman Boudreau, was born in North York, Toronto, Ontario. With the Toronto George Bell minor ice hockey club, he participated in the 1967 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament as a youngster. In the 1970s, he went at Nelson A. Boylen Collegiate Institute.

Despite having a limited big league career, Boudreau had a lengthy minor league career and was one of the all-time most productive minor league scorers, mostly in the American Hockey League (AHL). He finished his junior career with 165 points, adding 44 more in 27 games, and led the Marlies to a Memorial Cup victory.
