As per the guidelines specified in the CA course, candidates must secure a minimum of 40% marks in each CA foundation paper and a total of 50% marks to be qualified and declared pass. Around 1,37,153 candidates appeared for the ICAI CA Foundation exam 2023 in the December session, out of which only 41,132 candidates passed. The passing percentage of candidates in the CA Foundation exam in the December 2023 session is 29.99%. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) successfully conducted the CA Foundation exam on December 31, January 2, 4 and 6 at different examination centres.
