Cecilia Steyn’s unusual story begins in 2012 when she defiled a religious group called Overcomer Through Christ under the requirement of release from Satanism. Soon after, Zak Valentine, his wife Mikeila and Marinda Styen also joined the group. Cecilia, being the wife of a police officer, convinced Ria Grunewald, who is the leader of the church, stating that she wanted constant prayer as she had just left a satanic church and the action had caused her to experience continuous demonic attacks. Soon after, the relationship between Ria Grunewald and Cecilia soured when she discovered that he had been lying to her. Reportedly, after that, Ria decided to cut ties with her and Cecilia, leading them to take revenge on her. Furthermore, she formed a group called Electus per Deus together with Valentine and Marinda and they launched a series of attacks against OTC members. Their main plan of action was to place organic bombs under the cars of people attending an OTC course that will begin on July 2, 2012. Currently, the group took a three-year hiatus before continuing their killing spree when apparently they ran out of money. Cecilia devised a plan to get money through fraud, robbery and murder. On November 27, 2015, Valentine Marinda and Marcel arrived at Peter’s home, tied him up and his wife, Joan, and demanded money.
