A British man, Shiv Grewal, shares his experience after being immobile for seven minutes and then coming back to life. The 60-year-old stage actor talks about his brief entrance to heaven’s gates in 2013.
It was February 9, a decade ago, when Grewal went into cardiac arrest after finishing dinner with his wife Alison near their home in south-east London, UK. Panicking, Alison quickly called an ambulance for help, but it was too late.
In a conversation with PA real lifeShiv shared: “I knew, in a way, that he was dead.” He said that after being flattened, he could feel vivid sensations: “I felt things completely separate from my body. It was like I was in a vacuum but I could feel emotions and sensations…”
Grewal claimed that while he was submerged, he felt that he did not have a body as such. He likens the experience to swimming in water. “You feel weightless and disconnected from the physical world,” he continued.
Briton claims he went into space after his brief death
He claimed that at one point in his posthumous journey, he was traveling on the moon and was able to see meteors and “all of space.”
Grewal added that everything after death seemed like there were many possibilities and even offerings from the divine. He even mentioned that they were apparently offering him his next life: “Various lives and reincarnations that they were offering me.”
Grewal affirms that at that moment he flatly rejected the supposed offers that made him choose. He said: “I made it very clear that I wanted to go back to my body, to my time, to my wife and to continue living.”
At that moment, as if on cue, the ambulance arrived and paramedics resuscitated Grewal’s heart. He was rushed to the hospital and put in an induced coma for a month after his operation.
