Chandan Roy was born on January 30, 1980 in Delhi, India, to a Bengali family. He studied at Raisina Bengali School in Delhi and graduated in Mathematics from Zakir Hussain College in Delhi.
Chandan made his first debut in 2006 with the Rakesh Omprakash Mehra-directed film Rang De Basanti as Batukeshwar Dutt. He rose to fame thanks to Vishal Bhardwaj’s Kaminey in 2019. He played the role of Mikhail, which was highly appreciated by the audience and critics. After that, the chained continued, she became a part of many popular Bollywood movies like FALTU (2011), Love You To Death (2012), Tell Me O Kkhuda (2011), D-Day (2013), Prague (2013 ), etc.
