ISRO Chandrayaan 3 Mission FAQ: The Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) is all set to launch its long-awaited Chandrayaan-3 lunar mission. Four years after breaking many hearts, ISRO’s Chandrayaan 3 Mission aircraft will launch on the afternoon of Friday, July 14, 2023 from the Satish Dhawan Space Center in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh.
Chandrayaan 3 is a follow-up mission to Chandrayaan 2, launched in September 2019, which was unable to complete the soft landing due to problems with the on-board computer and propulsion system and crashed on the surface of the moon. Details of the Chandrayaan-3 mission spacecraft
ISRO’s three-stage rocket called Launch Vehicle Mark-3 (LVM3) will transport the robotic lunar lander and rover duo that make up the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft into parking Earth orbit, a stable circular path around Earth. which allows the mission team to make sure all instruments are working well after launch. Soon after, the spacecraft will be placed on a lunar transfer trajectory, beginning its journey through deep space.
Chandrayaan-3 Lander and Rover Name
He Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) plans to retain the names of the Chandrayaan-2 lander and rover for its Chandrayaan-3. He The Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft includes a lunar lander named Vikram (Sanskrit for “Courage”), which is equipped with four instruments to record thermal conductivity and detect moonquakes around the landing site, among other data.
