According to a recent survey, almost half of US companies using ChatGPT reported that the chatbot has already replaced workers. Following this, OpenAI CEO Sam Altman warned against relying on the AI chatbot for “anything critical.”
Tell Fortune, career advice website Resumebuilder.com conducted a study earlier this month with 1,000 corporate leaders in the United States who use ChatGPT or plan to use it in the future. It was found that more than half of the companies surveyed already use chatbots. Furthermore, fifty percent of business leaders in the United States who participated in the survey stated that ChatGPT has already displaced employees from their organizations.

Most corporate executives are generally satisfied with ChatGPT’s services, according to ResumeBuilder.com. “55% rate ChatGPT’s work as ‘excellent’, while 34% describe it as ‘very good’.
Meanwhile, Sam Altman, the founder of ChatGPT and CEO of OpenAI, warned against relying on the AI chatbot for “nothing essential.” According to the Fortune report, Altman also expressed concern about the threats posed by artificial intelligence technologies.
On the other hand, companies in India such as TCS have stated that generative artificial intelligence platforms like ChatGPT will produce an “AI co-worker” instead of eliminating jobs.
Such tools will improve efficiencies but won’t affect the business models companies use, according to Milind Lakkad, chief human resources officer (CHRO) at the country’s largest IT service company, which employs more than 6 lakh people.
“(The generative AI) will work alongside us as an assistant. There will be a colleague, and that colleague will want some time to understand the situation the consumer is in. “Lakkad recently stated this in an interview with the PTI news agency.
According to Lakkad, the context for doing work will continue to be industry and customer-centric. It will continue to come from the human being helped by such collaborator.
