Birth and early life
Chika Ikogwe was born in Lagos, Nigeria and moved to Melbourne, Australia when she was four years old. Since she was little she wanted to be a doctor, however, after some biology classes and hospital visits, she realized that medicine was not the career for which she was destined.
In 2015, Chika enrolled at the Victorian College of the Arts to undertake a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Theatre Practice) course, but soon dropped out after she was granted admission to the Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) course. ) at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA).
