The alleged mistress of ousted Chinese Foreign Minister Qin Gang has not been heard from since April, and mentions of her have been suppressed on the country’s main social media platform, sources tell The Post.
Married Qin was removed from his post as Beijing’s top diplomat after a Chinese Communist Party (CCP) investigation revealed he had had an affair during an 18-month period as ambassador in Washington, according to the Wall Street Journal.
While the lover’s identity has not been officially revealed, posters on China’s main social media platform Weibo have long named former Phoenix TV host Fu Xiaotian as Gang’s love interest.
Currently, Fu is barely mentioned on Weibo.
Moderators have blocked all direct discussion of her and users must refer to her using the abbreviations of her name to prevent their posts from being flagged.
