Chopped Up Body Parts Of Missing Crypto Influencer Fernando Perez Found Inside Suitcase

The body of Fernando Perez Algaba, a prominent cryptocurrency influencer from Argentina who had been missing for over a week, was discovered on Wednesday. Authorities made the grim find near a stream in Buenos Aires, as the New York Post reported. 

Shockingly, a group of children stumbled upon the red suitcase containing his remains while playing by the stream last Sunday. Mr. Algaba, an entrepreneur, had been missing since July 19.

The New York Post reported that concerned parents who had received a notification from their children were the ones who discovered Fernando Perez Algaba’s remains inside the red suitcase. 

The parents promptly informed the police, who examined the package and found Mr. Algaba’s legs and forearms. Furthermore, one of his arms was discovered in a nearby stream.

On the following Wednesday, the police located the missing head and torso. According to the outlet, officials commented on the clean amputation of the body parts, which suggested possible professional involvement.

After recovering the remains, the police sent Mr. Algaba’s body for an autopsy, and the subsequent report indicated that he had been shot three times before being dismembered.

Identification of Mr. Algaba was made possible through his fingerprints and distinctive tattoos on the recovered body parts.

According to a report by Marca, the self-made billionaire, Mr. Algaba, originally resided in Miami but later moved to Barcelona. 

He had been in Argentina for a week before the reported incident of his alleged murder.

Mr. Algaba built his fortune through ventures involving luxury vehicle rentals and cryptocurrency sales. 

His extravagant lifestyle was well-documented on Instagram, where he boasted an impressive following of nearly one million followers.

According to the outlet, the influencer had rented an apartment and was scheduled to return the keys on July 19. However, he failed to appear and did not respond to calls, prompting the property owner to file a missing person complaint.

About Mr. Algaba’s death, the police have apprehended one individual and are currently investigating to determine the motive behind the crime. 

While they have not yet confirmed the exact reason for the murder, they are considering the possibility that it may be linked to his numerous outstanding debts.
