The company has upgraded its RZBOX mini PC to Ryzen 7 5800H. The processor is an 8-core, 16-thread model with a boost clock of up to 4.4 GHz. It is equipped with a GFX9 (Vega) display and has 8 compute units (512 processors), with a frequency of up to 2, 0GHz.
More importantly, the Ryzen 7 5800H uses the Zen3 architecture, which is an improved version of the RZBOX powered by Ryzen 9 4900H/Zen2 released last year. Chuwi claims that the new RZBOX is 18% faster than the Ryzen 7 4800H and 15% faster than the 4900H in the Cinebench R23 single-core test.
The RZBOX mini PC supports DDR4-3200 SO-DIMMs up to 64GB and comes with a 512GB NVMe M.2 SSD. It can be further expanded via an auxiliary M.2 slot. The RZBOX with the 5800H will cost no more than the 4900H model, which still has an MSRP of $699. Also, the company promises to release low-end products with Ryzen 5 4600H or 6-core 5600H in the future.
