This Monday, November 27, the technology giant, Google, changed its main image to pay tribute to Clorindo Testa, an Italian-Argentine architect and artist.
Clorindo Testa was born on December 10, 1923 in Benevento, Italy, he began to stand out in his professional career, but it was on November 27, 2019 that the National Library called ‘Mariano Moreno’, which he created himself, was declared a historical monument.
It is for this reason that Google decided to give it the main part of its home page. It should be noted that the tribute can be seen not only in Argentina, but is also available in Mexico, Chile, Uruguay and Peru.

The doodle featured on the main page highlights the most emblematic buildings, highlighting their focus, colors and distinctive style.
“I was inspired by their various architectural designs: bold shapes, bright colors and explicit brutalist style. I hope to show the iconic shapes of the buildings he designed.“said the artist.

Who are Clorindo Testa’s children?
Clorindo Testa married Teresa Bortagaray in 1962, spending his honeymoon in India and also on the European continent, during which time the architect developed professional ties with other artists.
As for his children, it is only known that he had a daughter named Joaquina Testa, who was born in 1969, who would later create the Clorindo Testa Foundation in order to preserve works of art.
Joaquina studied set design and architecture, but found her calling in teaching, a profession she practices to this day. In 2014, she and her mother decided to open the foundation, while in 2018 they recovered what was the architecture studio and workshop that is now open to the public.
