Darshan Nalkande is an Indian player who plays for the Vidarbha cricket team and the Indian under-19 team. He is a fast bowler who bats right-handed. Darshan is known for his fast bowling against Karnataka in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20, where he took four wickets in four consecutive balls in the last over, even though his Vidarbha team lost the match by 4 runs. Punjab Kings included him for the first time in IPL 2019.
Birth and early life
Darshan Nalkande was born on October 4, 1998 in Wardha, Maharashtra. His father is Girish Nalkande and his mother Sapna Nalkande is a lawyer. He also has an elder brother, Gaurav Nalkande, and an elder sister.
Darshan did his college education from Dr. Ambedkar College, Nagpur. He used to play cricket at home with his elder brother Gaurav, then went to a summer camp at Akola Cricket Club. The coach was impressed with his game and asked Darshan to play cricket professionally.

Cricket career
Darshan started playing cricket as a bowler. He made his debut in List A, First Class and T20 while playing for the Vidarbha team. Darshan made his List A debut in the 2018-19 Vijay Hazare Trophy on 2 October 2018 and the following month he made his First Class debut in the 2018-19 Ranji Trophy on 1 November 2018. He played his debut in T20 in 2018-19 Syed Mushtaq Ali. Trophy on February 21, 2019.
ipl career
Darshan was included in the IPL for the first time by Punjab Super Kings. He was associated with Punjab Kings from the year 2019 to 2021 but did not get the opportunity to play in a single match. Later, in IPL 2022, the new team Gujarat Titans brought him into their team at a base price of Rs 20 lakh. He got the opportunity to play for the first time against his old team Punjab Kings, in this match he showed his bowling skills and took two wickets.
