The doctor husband of Bill de Blasio’s married lover, Kristy Stark, told The Post on Friday that his wife is no longer taking his phone calls, even as he said he still wants to save their 12-year union.
Owen Stark said he doesn’t know where his wife is and has had little contact with her other than a brief phone conversation Friday after their impressive relationship made headlines.
“Kristy is still the most incredible woman I have ever met,” the heartbroken husband said, adding, “The only thing that has mattered is what she wants.”
And when asked if he hoped she would decide to get back together with him instead of living her new life in the Big Apple spotlight, he said: “Of course. “She is the mother of my children.”
Meanwhile, former first lady Chirlane McCray, who recently announced an amicable split from de Blasio, declined to comment after briefly opening the front door of the Brooklyn home she and the former mayor still share.
Meanwhile, Owen Stark said Friday that he doesn’t know if his 42-year-old wife currently lives with de Blasio in New York City or if she will return to Michigan, where the couple lives with their two children.
He said he wasn’t going to try to force her to do anything.
“I never make him comply with demands. “She does what she wants,” she stated.

When asked if the budding relationship is serious, Owen Stark said: “I don’t think they’re at that point yet. I don’t think this has been going on for long. They met in some entrepreneurial incubator, it could have been in Boston. “It was probably within this year.”
Kristy Stark and the former mayor, 62, who has been separated from McCray, his wife of 30 years, since July, were recently spotted snuggling in Manhattan, holding hands during an evening stroll in the NoHo neighborhood on Wednesday.

The statement, as well as her public flirtation with the former hizzoner, seemed to take her husband completely by surprise, who told The Post: “I have not seen any legal communication nor have I been informed of anything like that. You know as much or more than I do at this moment.”
In a follow-up text conversation on Friday, Owen Stark told The Post that he had spoken to his wife, who “told him the details,” although he did not specify what those details entailed.
“I wish you the best.”
When asked if he thought they would divorce, Owen Stark said: “I don’t know. There are children involved. It’s hard to know.”
Kristy Stark is the founder and CEO of MindsEmerge, a Michigan-based education and literacy company. While it is not known how she and de Blasio met, he is listed on the company’s website as one of her “experts and advisors.”
The former mayor has had an active social life since announcing his separation from his former wife, and the couple said they would remain married but would be free to see other people.
In October, de Blasio was spotted kissing a mystery woman in lower Manhattan during a candlelit dinner as the two drank wine and laughed at the luxurious La Mercerie.
The month before, he was seen passionately kissing another unknown woman at the Empire Rooftop Bar near Columbus Circle.
