Chandrayaan-3 mission, a historic victory for India
India made history when it became the first and only country to reach the South Pole of the Moon. At 6:04 pm, Chandrayaan-3’s Vikra Lander landed on the moon.
The nation remembered the failure of the Chandrayaan-2 after the successful landing of the LM. India’s third lunar exploration mission, Chandrayaan-3, launched on July 14 from Andhra Pradesh’s Satish Dhawan Space Center. After the United States, Russia and China, India has become the fourth country to carry out a soft moon landing.
