Thousands of videos of his stage performances have circulated the internet, with all but one drawing the attention of desis on Twitter. A Stella fan account was seen promoting the pop artist in one of her tweets. In the clip, Taylor danced and sang to her song ‘…Ready For It?’ while screams engulfed the space.

The fan in his tweet compared Swift’s dance prowess to Michael Jackson, which didn’t sit well with one desi who thought that if it really was a dance war then Bollywood actor Govinda would really win the bet. .

While many thought it disrespectful to the late King of Pop, the desis were more concerned with pitting Taylor against some of the most unlikely pairings for a dance showdown. While people supported Adarsh in his Govinda recommendation, others mentioned that Salman Bhai would also be a strong contender in the match.

One user posted a video of cricketer Virat Kohli dancing and argued that he has a better chance of beating Michael Jackson than T-Swift. Another tweeted how the kids from her neighborhood dance better at the Ganpati festival than Taylor did at her concert.

Great dancer or not, Taylor Swift is set to earn more than $1 billion from her Eras tour
However, it seems that their seemingly poor dance skills won’t stop fans from attending their concerts. In a recent report, his Eras Tour was estimated to be the highest-grossing tour of all time, earning a record $1 billion in sales.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Taylor Swift’s stadium concert tour is expected to earn more money than Elton John’s final tour. Swift’s tour includes lengthy performances with many songs, impressive stage setups, dance routines and numerous costume changes. Revenue from ticket sales, merchandise and endorsements are expected to be higher for Swift’s tour than Elton’s final tour.
In December, Billboard estimated that Taylor Swift’s tour would generate around $590 million (Rs 59 Crore) from 52 shows. However, with the addition of concerts in Latin America, Asia, Australia and Europe through 2024, the tour now has at least 106 dates. This means that the tour is very likely to generate more than $1 billion (Rs 8,200 Crore) in total revenue.
