The rumor went viral through TikTok, where an account called ‘lapastoracatalina0’ published a video about the fact that the president of Mexico had entered the Metropolitan Hospital of Mexico without life.
The alleged cause of death would be cardiac arrest. This video caused commotion on the networks despite the fact that most of the comments question the veracity of the news.
It should be noted that this account is of Honduran origin and its administrator describes himself as a Telemundo journalist, a fact that he uses to gain credibility even though it is false.
So far, TikTok has accumulated more than 11 thousand views, however based on the old content of the account, it could be projected that the recording would obtain millions of views.
AMLO’s legacy
AMLO is the acronym used to refer to Andrés Manuel López Obrador, a Mexican politician who won the presidency of Mexico on December 1, 2018. His administration is part of the 2018-2024 presidential period.
Andrés Manuel López Obrador is a left-wing politician and leader of the National Regeneration Movement party (MORENA). Before assuming the presidency, he held several political positions, including Head of Government of Mexico City from 2000 to 2005.
