Dogs destroy cars at Texas dealership, causing up to $350,000 in damage: video

They have gone crazy!

Two canines have been vandalizing vehicles at a Texas car dealership, causing hundreds of thousands of dollars in damage, according to employees.

The dogs terrorized the G Motors dealership on three separate nights between Nov. 6 and Nov. 18, ripping off bumpers and fenders, according to shocking surveillance footage provided to ABC13 shows.

The dogs alone devastated five cars, with damage estimated to cost between $100,000 and $350,000, sales manager Gaby Fakhoury told the outlet.

“You never think a dog has the kind of power to destroy a car like that,” Fakhoury said. Another employee said he believed only a wolf could cause such extensive damage before watching the video.

The dogs can be seen walking on top of the cars and apparently working together to tear off parts of the car with their teeth.

Footage from the first incident shows a cat, which employees believe the dogs may have been chasing.

Fakhoury said the incidents have left workers terrified and he worries they could keep people away from his business.

“No one wants to leave their cars anymore. They want to make sure they get directly to the office. They are very scared,” he told ABC13.

The dealership filed a report with the Houston Police Department, but they were told the police can’t do anything because it’s a civil matter unless the dogs attacked a human.

“We don’t want to wait until someone is really hurt,” Fakhoury said.

Police urged them to hire a private investigator to locate the dogs’ owner, if any, whom they could sue for damages.

Employees believe the dogs enter the fenced dealership through a small gap.

The dealership will be moving to a new location next month, hopefully away from the destructive dogs.
