According to the timeline of the incident, a delivery agent from the pizza company called a customer, Kanishka Dadhich, on WhatsApp one day after delivering an order to her home.

In his message, delivery executive Kabir confessed his apparent feelings for the customer, which alerted Dadhich. Concerned for his safety, the customer posted the screenshot of the chat on Twitter and demanded that Domino’s take action against the driver who had violated his privacy and obtained his personal number.

After being posted on the platform, his tweet went viral, drawing the attention of authorities. Domino contacted Dadhich and tried to resolve the situation. Later, other users of the platform reported that the delivery executive had been fired from his job.

Firing the agent raised additional safety concerns for the client

This once again raised concerns for the client’s safety. UP Police intervened after the user reported a lack of satisfactory response from Domino’s. Although the original tweet was deleted by Twitter, in his initial message the delivery man wrote: “Sorry, my name is Kabir, yesterday I came to give you pizza, I’m the same, I like you.”

A message on her WhatsApp account from the estranged woman raised concerns for Dadhich’s safety and she worried about the mishandling of her personal information. In her tweet, the user expressed: “I want to ask if this is ethical to send a delivery person so she can get anyone’s number and address. Even if he likes me, this is not the way to confess. It means that you have misused the number given to the company for delivery purposes.”

The user shared all the interactions she had with Domino’s in her subsequent tweets.

I had words with Domino’s climbing manager according to her. She had clearly mentioned to him my doubts about my safety together with my family. I don’t understand her behavior to support someone who has breached my private information from a corporate house. pic.twitter.com/nfo2XRUEQ2
