Dr Ilayaraja T is a collector from Tamil Naidu State, who became collector of Indore after serving as collector of Rewa and Jabalpur. He has been given the responsibility of leading and managing Indore, replacing the previous collector Manish Singh.
Ilayaraja is determined to make a difference in the city of Indore and is dedicated to ensuring that the citizens of the city receive the best possible services. Ilaiya worked hard and persevered to achieve her goal of becoming an IAS officer in 2009, having studied Veterinary Medicine before. On 8 November 2022, Ilayaraja became a collector of Indore.
Biography
Ilayaraja is a resident of Tamil Nadu who achieved great success in 2009. After studying Veterinary Science and Livestock Husbandry from Madras Veterinary College, he managed to clear the IAS exam. Since then, he has worked in various fields including IAS, healthcare, education and smart cities. Ilayaraja began his career as district collector in Rewa. In 2009, he was appointed to the post of collector in Jabalpur.
In November 2022, he was transferred to Indore on the orders of Chief Secretary Government MP Iqbal Singh Bais. Before this, he worked as an assistant collector in Seoni and then as chief executive officer of Rajgarh district panchayat.
