Dhami began her career as a dance instructor and then moved into modeling. She completed several modeling jobs and photo shoots. She appeared in many advertisements including Colgate, Lion Honey, Vasan Eye Care, Amul, VIP Bags, Chevrolet and Reliance Mobile. Later, she made an appearance in music videos like Humko Aaj Kal Hai, Teri Meri Nazar Ki Doori and Saiyaan Dil Mein Aana Re.
In 2007, he made his television debut with the series Dill Mill Gayye as Dr. Muskaan Chaddha alongside Karan Singh Grover, Shilpa Anand, Sukirti Kandpal and Jennifer Winget.
