Edi Zunino was born on April 21, 1963 in Ramos Mejía and held, among other positions, that of general editorial secretary of the newspaper Perfil. He began his career with fines from the dictatorship, in the magazine ‘subte’ retruco.
This was directed by two of his classmates from the School of Journalism of the Grafotécnico Institute: Jorge Fernández Díaz and Gustavo González, and he also collaborated in the morning newspapers La Voz and Sur.
He was editor of the biweekly cooperative action. He specialized in journalistic investigation and was at the head of the team that followed the alternatives after the crimes against the photographer José Luis Cabezas.
