Two days later a cheeky flock of 44 sheep was found that managed to escape from their owner’s farm in Ontario, Canada.

On Wednesday, the Ontario Provincial Police took X asking for help in locating the creatures, which had gone missing the previous day in Beckwith Township, about an hour south of Ottawa.

The next day, the OPP posted an updatenoting that the stray animals “returned home and are in good health.”

“The owner contacted us today shortly after midday to tell us that the sheep were in good health on the road near his residence. All accounted for,” OPP spokesman Officer Joe Tereschuk told the Ottawa Citizen newspaper.

Despite recent wet weather in the area, the sheep were “completely dry when they were found,” Tereschuk told Hometownist.

However, he said, “there is no evidence to suggest they were stolen.”
