She began her studies in Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir and, after her family moved to Delhi, she continued her studies at the Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan.. After some time they moved to Calcutta, West Bengal. She completed her graduation and pursued her career as a model. She participated in the Miss Kolkata beauty pageant.

Career
Flora made her acting debut with a Telugu film, Prema Kosam, in 1999 as the female lead Aishwarya. She later worked in several films like Antha Mana Machike, Ammo! Okato Tareekhi, Sabse Bada Beiman (Hindi), Yeh Hai Green Signal (Hindi), Manasunna Maraju and Chala Bagundi. She did numerous supporting and lead roles in Hindi, Telugu, Kannada films and also some Punjabi films.
Flora is a well-established personality on digital platforms. Her first web series was in 2016 Made in India as Maid. She gained wide recognition after playing Sajeli in season 2 of Gandi Baat (2018) on ALT Balaji, followed by season 1 of Inside Edge as Ayesha Dewan on Amazon Prime and XXX as Rukmani Lalwani on ALT Balaji in 2018. In 2020 , was seen as Radhika. She “Rads” in Hotstar’s web series Aarya, starring Sushmita Sen.
