Gashmeer Mahajani was born on June 8, 1985 in Pune, Maharashtra, in a Maharashtrian family. His father Ravindra Mahajani, a well-known Marathi actor and director. Gashmeer studied at Abhinava Vidyalaya, Pune. He graduated from BMCC, Pune. Later he joined the theater.

Career
Mahajani began his career as a theater actor. He made his acting debut in the year 2010 with the Hindi film Muskurake Dekh Zara alongside Twinkle Patel. Later he took a break to hone his talent through theater. He worked for Prithvi Theater for several years.
Mahajani returns to the acting industry with the Marathi film Carry On Maratha directed by Sanjay Londhe in 2015. This film established him in the glamor industry and he later appeared in films like Deool Band, Dongari Ka Raja, Panipat. Recently, Mahajani appeared as Aditya Kumar Tripathi in Star Plus’ TV show Imlie.
