Biography
Gaurav Gupta completed his graduation from London-based Central Saint Martins after studying from NIFT, Delhi. He later worked with designers such as Hussein Chalayan, Tristan Webber and Stella McCartney. He took on the role of artistic director of Turkish label LTB before founding his label.
Gaurav achieved a much-awaited reception on the Indian fashion stages by being awarded Breakthrough Designer of the Year and Rookie of the Year. In all these events, he received the Future of couture award from the Italian Altaroma Altamo da in 2013. After the launch of the brand, Gupta marketed it under the name Atpug Varuag, which is the inverse of his name Gaurav Gupta. His exceptional collection, Light fall, which he presented at Bridal Week 2013, garnered widespread recognition. The design is distinguished by its masterful style.
She combined traditional assets like Sadi, Pitta and Nakshe, Zaari with lace, georgette, organza and jersey as emphasis of the event. And she confirmed that the collection began by reflecting on how people viewed mystery and mythology over a thousand years and it reminded her of the idea of the fall of the Light, and it was surprising. Giving her electric collection a magical touch to her glamorous stunner, Shraddha Kapoor, who looked gorgeous in white and a floor-length dress from the Gupta collection.
