In one such tweet, Mamaearth co-founder Ghazal Alagh shared a video in which he stated that Indians should explore their nation more.
“If I told you I was in the Maldives right now, would you believe me? But I am actually on a helicopter from Mumbai to Nashik. India is on par with foreign countries we want to visit. We just need to do more research,” Alagh said. on X, formerly Twitter.

People also reacted to his post. “No, I wouldn’t believe you were in the Maldives when I can clearly see the red, volcanic soil of Maharashtra, home to all my known ancestors,” said an audience member.
“Amazing! I was a regular in the Maldives until the pandemic hit, but I also visited the Andaman Islands. The Andaman Islands are stunning and offer a great option.” Another person commented that other sites, like Lakshadweep, should be more “tourist-friendly.”
