She has a younger sister, Autism Bhattacharya, in the family. When she was a child, she was always passionate about Bollywood songs. In 2015, she participated and came second in the musical reality television show “Love Me India Kids”, aired on &TV.
Harshita made her singing debut with the Assamese film Ratnakar by giving voice to the song “Ata Kotha Kowana”. She was seen as a contestant on season 2 of Superstars Singers in 2022.
