This is the heartbreaking moment a mother ran to her young son who was in an ambulance after he was found unconscious and covered in vomit, body camera footage showed.
Charlie Cronmiller had been napping for two hours when he was found at Little Lovey Day Care in Dunwoody, Georgia, 20 miles from Atlanta, on February 3, 2021.
Police body camera footage captured Stephanie Cronmiller as she ran toward her baby, who was receiving CPR in the ambulance.

“Madam, go in the ambulance, they are getting ready to leave. “This is mom.”
The moment she was given permission, the mother, who was wearing a mask, ran to the vehicle.
Investigators said they had placed the baby, who died in October 2021, face down when they laid him down for a nap, which is against medical guidelines for his age.
