Olivia Carrea thanked her mentor, who helped her finish high school, by getting a unique tattoo. Social media users are sharing an Instagram post with images and TikTok videos of the moving occasion.
“Student surprises teacher with tattoo she got,” the text of the post read. The girl was seen taking off her sweatshirt and showing off her new tattoo to her teacher in the popular TikTok video.
The teacher is initially stumped, but upon closer inspection of his hand, he realizes that it is the exact same message he put in a letter for Olivia’s high school graduation.
He got a little tearful at being surprised by the gesture, and the two gave each other a tender hug.

She made the decision to write it in her teacher’s handwriting so that she could always treasure this moving message. Olivia clarified that “XXIX” represented the number of the classroom where she previously taught in a TikTok video.
