Manila Sightseeing Bus
After the introduction of new-style buses, tourists can now tour Manila via the Department of Tourism’s ‘Hop On, Hop Off’ bus tours after the program launched in the nation’s capital on Thursday. It was learned that the sightseeing tour aims to show the city’s heritage sites, museums and more. The first HOHO tour was launched in Makati. The ‘Hop On, Hop Off’ stop in Manila is described as the cultural hub or venue of Metro Manila. They will be Robinsons Manila, Raja Sulayman, Rizal Park, National Museum, Manila City Hall, Escolta Binondo and Intramuros.
Tourism Secretary Christina Frasco stated that her goal is to partner with the City of Manila on the vision of the people to ensure that this remains the cultural hub of Metro Manila. The declaration was approved during the launch at the Kartilya Katipunan in Ermita, Manila. For her part, Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna said that she has always been and will be willing to warmly welcome and welcome her local and foreign visitors. Lacuna added that the visit to Manila will be a glimpse of what the Philippines can really offer. She added that this is the only reason they encourage DOT to expand Manila for Hop On, Hop Off so that their city can contribute positively to the national economy and significantly to ours.
Therefore, the project was piloted in the city of Makati at the end of May in an attempt to further revive the entire tourism sector. Frasco said that the HOHO program ushers the country’s tourism sector into the digital age, as people can book their fun trips at their own comfort and convenience and purchase day tours or three-day passes through the mobile app. At the moment, Manila is at an extreme shoulder to shoulder, as well as similar offerings of Hop On, Hop Off tours in other cities around the world. It was learned that the launch price of the Manila Cultural Hub tour starts at 1,000 per person. In addition to Manila and Makati, the sightseeing bus tours will take to Taguig, Quezon City, San Juan, Pasig, and more.
